XF Rendering Server / High Volume XSL-FO and XML Formatter
At it's core, XF Rendering Server is a high volume, XSL-FO 1.1 compliant XML formatting engine. Convert XML to PDF, XSLFO to PDF and other 17 output formats, including Postscript, TIFF, JPEG, Silverlight, HTML, Word, PowerPoint, AFP (MO:DCA), SVG, EPUB (eBooks) and more. Your reports, catalogues, invoices, statements, brochures and other publications will look professional due to the exhaustive set of formatting capabilities that are built-in, including support for advanced pagination, hyphenation, full color support including RGB, CMYK, ICC and SPOT. The generated PDF can display barcodes, charts, maps, 3D objects, Flash objects and all major image formats including SVG, and has support for tables, floats, headers and footers, footnotes and all other features needed for professional document production. Is also highly scalable, being able to paginate XML to PDF at a sustained rate of thousands of pages per minute with a memory consumption that is usually under 100 Mb. It has fullUnicode support and can display output in any language including Russian, Chinese, Hebrew and Japanese. XF Rendering Server runs onWindows andLinux and it doesn't require any additional software including the .NET Framework or Java.
XF Designer / XSL-FO Based Layout Designer
XF Designer is an easy to use document layout editor. The layouts can be used by XF Rendering Server or any other XSL-FO compliant engine to generate PDF, Postscript, AFP from XML. XF Designer is also a Visual XSL-FO Editor. In the past, software developers used to code XSL stylesheets for this purpose with nothing more than a text editor. While this is still possible today, having a good layout designer will cut the development time in less than half. Moreover, templates created in XF Designer can be easily modified by non-technical users because the WYSIWYG user interface resembles Microsoft Word and drag & drop is used to add dynamic elements to your report. XF Designer user internally the same core engine as our server product. Templates are XML documents which can be edited by professional programmers to achieve an ever greater control over the generated output. XF Designer also supports creation ofmultilanguage templates using external resources files and supportVDP (Variable Data Printing) andTranspromo.
XF Desktop Edition / XSLFO and XML Formatting Engine for Desktop
Based on the same engine as our server product, XF Desktop Edition brings powerful XML to PDF formatting abilities to any .NET or Windows native desktop application. You can convert XSL-FO, WordML and DOCX to one of the supported output formats including PDF, Postscript, XPS, TIFF and more. The desktop engine can also run XML through layout templates (standard XSL or XF Designer-created XFD) and produce Web and print-ready documents. It can also send the result directly to a printer.
As part of the package you also get two .NET controls: a viewer and a editor. You can use them as part of your solution in order to preview a document or make small changes. XF Desktop Edition is very cost effective and is licensed royalty free.
Data Aggregation Server / Free Data Integration
XML is great in middle-tier because it enables intelligent partitioning of your application's functions. It is also very convenient, because many modern middle-tier components are able to export XML.
But if you don't have XML and you have to start from scratch, you can use Data Aggregation Server (DAS) to retrieve records from multiple databases, XML files, Web services and other sources and generate a unique, coherent image. This process is called Data Integration.
