Fastest Processing Method

Hi Everyone, 

I have been running bench mark testing on my own for the last few days using a
trial version of Ultrascale. I setup a Hot Folder and copied 15000 identical
xml files into this folder. I monitored the documents produced and calculated
the average time per document at certain intervals. I used a very complex
document with many nested tables and many repeating and conditional tables.
These where my results:

50 documents = 7.82 seconds per document

500 documents = 12.77 seconds per document

1000 documents = 15.31 seconds per document 

4500 documents = 15.66 seconds per document 

It would seem that hot folder monitoring is not the best way to go if you have
files constantly waiting to be processed. I have found that if I delete the
files waiting and copy them again the server is much faster again. This
suggests the problem is with the repeated processing.

Can anyone suggest a better way of processing documents as fast as possible?

Using the API? Command line? Batch files? Any suggestions?

	Hello, Hot folder performance is influenced heavily by the file system's performance. The better way is to use ULoad.NET.exe from the server's Bin directory (usually C:\Program Files\Ecrion\XF Ultrascale 2012\Bin). See http://www.ecrion.com/products/xfrenderingserver/XFUltrascaleHelp/load_test_exe.htm for a description of the command line. Specify the number of threads using the -t flag. Let us know if you encounter any issues.
