Font "X" not supported in PDF/A or PDF/X output

   Q: When I select PDF/X or PDF/A output, I get an error about some fonts not being supported. I've encountered this error with Times, Helvetica and Courier. What do I have to do to get my document rendered?
A: The fonts mentioned are Adobe Standard Fonts. They are guaranteed to be present with any PDF or
PostScript implementation and that is why they are never embedded. All other
fonts will be embedded.
The embeddable equivalents for the three Adobe Standard Fonts are, respectively: Times New Roman, Arial and Courier New.
