Bug: Modified table-cell properties reverted

Hi

I have table with 5 rows 2 columns. For the last table row which spans two columns i don't want border bottom. In the designer view i select the table cell and set the border-bottom style to hidden and border-bottom color to 'white'.
It displays properly in the designer view. But as soon as I save the document All my changes in the designer view are reverted and the border-bottom reappear. Why is this so? Am I doing any thing wrong? Or is this a Bug.

Thanks for your reply. Resolved this issue by manually setting the border-bottom attribute in the text view for that particular column. But in the design view the problem if i change the settings the problem still persists.
