I've a table-cell filled with serveral fields underneath each other,
Example:

CL_CLT001
CL_CLT002
CL_CLT003
..(until)..
CL_CLT100

These are reserved fields for 100 elements of text. Most of all only 3 till 10 fields are filled with data. Sometimes more. Sometimes less.
How can I hide the empty lines (fields)?
When I try to use the conditional formatting on the textfield. (lke string-length(CL_CLT005=0) Visibilty = Collapse.
Then still an empty line is shown. I think the return token is not hidden.
What can I do to remove the empty lines for those lines who are empty?
I even tried visiblity = hidden. But also then the new-line token (or so its seems) is still present

A comparable question is when fields are next to each other. For example:    VAR1 VAR2 VAR3
When VAR2 is empty there are 2 space-caracters shown. How can I effectuate that only one space caracter is displayed between VAR1 en VAR3?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Hugo!

Anyone? I still have this problem.

Why is this considered as a technical forum anyway? There's no answer on any of my posts.

XF Designer is a nice product, but the support is scanty.Unhappy
