Hi everybody,
a week ago I sent the message stated below to the ecrion support. As usual I did not receive an answer. After asking for help again on friday and not having heard anything from them since then I can't afford to wait any longer :( Maybe someone here can help me. --message We were using your XFRenderer (Desktop Edition) until now and are about to switch to the Ultrascale-Version. I'm testing with a bunch of FOs that worked well with the old version. With ultrascale, many of those documents cause "Strict Validation Errors". Is it possible to disable the strict validation and to make ultrascale behave like the previous version? Another error I've encountered numerous times is a NullPointerException at Ecrion.Ultrascale.Engine.render(Stream inputStream, Stream outputStream, RenderingParameters parameters) at Ecrion.Ultrascale.Engine.Render(Stream inputStream, Stream outputStream, RenderingParameters parameters) Those fos also worked nicely in the old version. I've attached one of the files that caused the error (and the pdf I created with the old version) to this mail. --end of message Since I can't add files to this post and the fo is too long to append it to this message I can't show the fo that causes the NullRef. But maybe somebody else had similar problems and can help nonetheless. Any help would be highly appreciated! Regards Stefan |

Implemented in server version 7.1.0 and later - there is a new parameter in RenderinParameters called PreloadDocument. There may be a significant performance penalty associated with using this parameter as it will disable all optimizations build in the Ultrascale formatting engine in order to load the entire document in memory.
