What are DAX Jobs? |
Data Architect works with job files in DAX (Data Aggregation XML) format.
A DAX file contains rules and parameters that customize the process of retrieving data from your database and generating one of the supported output formats.
You do not need to know the format beforehand to work with it, but you can always look at the code generated by Data Architect at any time and even edit it using the embedded text editor component.
DAX jobs can be used without user's intervention in automatic processes by Data Aggregation Server (DAS) or can be used as a data source by Ecrion XF Designer or Ecrion XF Rendering Server.
