The SQL Query Editor dialog lets you run custom queries on a selected database connection.

 

 

Like the Insert Datasource dialog, the SQL Query Editor dialog lets you choose a connection to run the query on.

 

The first section lets you edit the SQL query text.

To test the query syntax, press the Test Query button.

To run the query and see the results, press the Run Test button. The results will show up in the Query Results section.
