System Requirements
Dual or Quad CPU server class machines are recommended. However, the following are the minimum system requirements:
Software:
| • | Windows 2000 Service Pack 4 or later |
Hardware:
| • | Minimum 2.4 GHz Pentium 4 processor |
| • | 512 Mb of RAM |
| • | 10 Gb of free disk space |
What is Included
The default installation folder is C:\Program Files\Ecrion\Data Aggregation Server 2012.
The following tools and programs are installed:
| • | DASSvc - The Data Aggregation Server 2012 Windows Service. (Windows only) |
| • | DASAggregate.NET - Console application that can process jobs from the command line. This utility calls the Data Aggregation Server 2012 Windows Service. (Windows only) |
| • | DASAggregate - Console application that can process jobs from the command line. This utility calls the engine directly (in-process), bypassing Data Aggregation Server 2012 Windows Service. |
| • | Management Console - Visual utility allowing server configuration and license management. (Windows only) |
Steps to Install:
1) For Windows, download the appropriate .msi or .zip installation package from the Downloads section on the Ecrion web site. The link is http://www.ecrion.com/Downloads/Downloads.aspx. Then, uninstall all previous versions of Data Aggregation Server using the Windows Control Panel before installing the new one. The licenses are not modified during an uninstall and install procedure. To install new licenses, use the Management Console in the Data Aggregation Server folder accessed through the Start Menu.
