Conditional values are important because they allow users to set different properties to different objects as a result of the fact that properties can have different values.
Consider you have a repeating table with a collection of CDs (containing title, artist, etc) and you may want to change the color of title albums for the ones having price under 10. In order to do this, first place the cursor where you want to make the change (in this example in the column for title), click-right and choose Properties. Then go to Color attribute from Font in Properties dialog bar and click the arrow button from the right side in order to open Property Value dialog. Choose Conditional values and click Edit Conditions button.
The Conditional Values dialog will be displayed. Click Add to edit your condition and then assign it a static or a dynamic value. In the example below, we have selected a static one: "red".
