Conditional Values

You have the ability to change a value assigned to any property according to one or more rules.

First, select "Show Properties" from the View tab in the Properties group,  go to the field you need and click the browse button from the right side of the property you want to change. Then, choose Conditional Values and press Edit Conditions.

The following dialog will be displayed:

The second condition displayed in the conditions list (labeled "<default value>") is always the fallback condition, that is, if no other conditions can be satisfied, the value specified here will be applied.

Use the Add button to add more conditions, and the Remove button to remove them. The fallback condition can not be removed.

For each condition, including the fallback, you can specify the value to be a static value (for example "red" or "rgb(255,0,0)") or a dynamic value.

Note:

In order to change an existing property, you need to place the cursor in the field you want to make that change for before selecting the new preferences.  To do that, click inside that field or select the current element from the Navigation Bar.
