Synopsis:

 

Sometimes is useful to visualize only the static or only the dynamic data in our document. How do I enable VDP(Variable Data Printing) and view VDP content?

 

Answer:

 

To enable Variable Data Printing for a document, just click the Enable VDP button located in the Review ribbon tab.

 

Consider the following template containing a repeating table from the cdcatalog.xml sample.

 

 

To preview this document, select Print Preview from the View ribbon tab:

 

 

The VDP Preview group contains two checkboxes for viewing the static and dynamic data in your document. Check or uncheck Static Data or Dynamic Data to show/hide static or dynamic data.
