Fields are inline elements that display content from the source XML.

Example of usage are: a person name, the total amount for an invoice, rich formatted text or any generic text.

These can be insert into the document by drag and drop actions from the XML Tree.

Design mode:

In design mode, a field is displayed with silver background. The location of data in the input XML is specified using XPath language.

This location is stored in the "XPath" attribute and is also displayed as field's caption. When the final output is generated, the field will be replaced by the result of the XPath expression:
