Use this dialog to configure your XF Designer 2011. To display the dialog: click the File button then click the Options button at the lower right of the displayed menu.
General
Language: choose the language for your document applicable in the Design and View modes. Default Zoom: choose the default zoom factor to be activated when opening a document in Design or View mode. Measurement Unit: choose the unit measure for your document applicable in the Design and View modes. The available formats are: inch, pixel, point, millimeter and centimeter. Default Spellchecker: choose the default spellchecker for your document applicable in the Design View.
Fonts and Colors
You can customize your document in the text editor mode by applying Font and Size properties. You can also use the group Display Item to assign color properties: select the item and go to Item Foreground and Item Background. Check the Show Line Numbers box if you want the lines to be numbered.
XSL Transformations
Choose the parser to be used when running XSL Transformations, among the following: MSXML, .Net Framework and Saxon.
Rendering Engines
Choose the rendering engine to be used, among an Internal Engine(default) or an External Engine. If you choose to use an external engine, select the executable and type the command line.
Advanced Options
Validate documents when saving: automatically signals the mistakes when saving an XML document. Optimize automatically when generating a stylesheet: calls the option "Optimize XML source". Protect side regions from direct editing: prevents writing in the side regions. Shade side regions when protected: shades side regions when protected.
Plugins
Choose the plugins for the Source Control provider and for Export. In XF Designer, the available plug-in for exporting documents is FOP Cleaner.
