XF Designer 2011 supports adding media objects like Flash to outputs that support it, like PDF and HTML.
To insert a media object in a PDF file you will need the SWF file and an image used for previewing are needed.
First click on the Insert tab and then and click the Media Object button.

A dialog will pop up allowing the user to select the input .swf file and the preview file shown in the PDF before activating the media object.

You can also add parameters to media objects:

Parameters are of two types: uri and player. The Flash documentation page gives more detailed information about parameters and their meanings.
| • | To add a new parameter, click the Add button. The Edit Parameter dialog will appear. |
| • | To edit an existing parameter, click the Edit button. The Edit Parameter dialog will appear. |
| • | To remove an existing parameter, click the Remove button. |
