What Is DAL?
DAL stands for Digital Assembly Line and it is a very powerful feature of XF Ultrascale 2011, allowing users to merge together different documents, both static and dynamic, into one output. It also gives you the option to add overlays for some or all of the documents and it also supports dynamic documents created at runtime based on the input.
Summary
DAL works with documents called jobs. A DAL job is an XML document specifying how a set of documents is to be merged. This section describes the DAL job XML language in detail.
