You can add your namespaces to the root element:
 
<xfd:document xmlns:xfd="...." xmlns:myns="tempuri.org">

How can I create and include a custom xslt function in XF Designer (xfd file). Topics are :
  •  create  own namespace
  • define own function
The global XSLT does not work, because we can not define a namesapce there (to late)
