How to support russian character in Apache Fop v1.0?

I am using XML ( which contains my data ) and XSL ( which is my style sheet). I have configured fop.xconf as 

<font  metrics-url="/root/Desktop/26thMay_Localization_RND/lucon_ankur.xml" 
                          kerning="yes" 
                 embed-url="/root/Desktop/26thMay_Localization_RND/lucon.ttf">
           <font-triplet name="LUCON" style="normal" weight="normal"/>
</font>

and XSL as:

<fo:block text-align="left" font-family="LUCON" font-style="normal" font-weight="normal" font-size="9pt"> 
Russian:
А Б В Г Д Е Ж З И Й К Л М Н О П Р С Т У Ф Х Ц Ч Ш Щ Ъ Ы Ь Э Ю Я 
а б в г д е ж з и й к л м н о п р с т у ф х ц ч ш щ ъ ы ь э ю я  
</fo:block>

still the postscript file which I generate is not having Russian character. can some one help me in this?
