Hi vinco,

Yes it's possible. Please follow this steps:
- Go to Review tab and click Protect Document
 -In the Protection dialog bar, check Restrict Editing and press Apply Now

This will enforce protection for the entire document, if you want to allow users to edit some regions, just check the option Allow users to edit this region
