In my report, there is a header which I want to show on conditional bases. Header should show up only from page 2 i.e. Header should not be shown for page 1.

What is the way I can implement this? I tried googling with IF condition but no luck.

Thanks in advance

Hello.

You need to define a different page master for the first page and use that in an fo:page-sequence-master.
Here is a link to get you started with XSL-FO page layout:

If you are still having trouble, please contact support and we'll send you a sample.

Thank you,
Gabi

My 1st page is not static as my the content of my 1st page is a value from database so it is possible that my 1st page's field's value extends in 2nd page and in that can I would want to show Header on 2nd page. So I cannot create separate page master and have no heading for it Unhappy

Thanks

So, if I understood correctly, the scenarios are:
a) 1 page -> header on 1st page
b) 2 pages -> header on 2nd page

Any others? If it were to take 3 or 4 pages, where would the header appear?

Regards,
Gabi

In total I have 7 pages and these can be 8 if page 1 value is that big to extend till 2nd page.

So irrepective of my total number of pages Header should now show up for the 1st page. Now if the content of 1st page spill over to 2nd page (so 2nd page's content will fall to 3rd page n so on) then my 2nd page should show Header.

I hope I am clear on query.

Thanks
Hetal
